Nestled along Bellingham Bay, this bespoke home was brought to life through a collaboration with McClellan Architects and Emerald Builders, featuring a modern design with a twist. Our client, originally from Sweden with a penchant for European elegance, inspired us to weave in soft, sophisticated touches throughout the interior. The foundation of this aesthetic began with wide plank oak flooring and herringbone-patterned graphite limestone, complemented by marble accents, walnut details, and sleek black finishes. Highlighting the client's exquisite collection of antiques, including Baccarat chandeliers in the master bedroom and guest bath, a Swedish clock, and various case pieces, we curated a mix of vintage, new, and custom furnishings. The color scheme of cream, warm cinnamon, and olive green allowed us to create a rich tapestry of textures and shapes, culminating in a space that exudes warmth, modernity, and refined elegance.
