Queen Anne

Twelve years after our initial design of this home, our client sought us out again for a comprehensive update, including a complete renovation of the kitchen and master bath. This time, they desired a light, airy Scandinavian-inspired palette, which we achieved by blending modern architectural details with classic elements, such as the blue French Le Corneau range—a tribute to the home's 1920s origins. In the kitchen, sleek, handle-less European cabinets are crowned with marble countertops, and a large new raw oak window floods the space with light and provides a view to the backyard. The bathroom features the same white oak and marble, centered around a modern Italian Agape tub, a contemporary twist on the traditional clawfoot.

The client's dynamic art collection remains a focal point in every room, complemented by furnishings that are both clean and contemporary, mixing new and vintage pieces carefully gathered and curated over time.
