About Brigitte Charest

Having grown up in northwest Connecticut, Brigitte's appreciation for old homes and New England charm is deeply ingrained. Her residence in the Pacific Northwest (PNW) over the past nine years has further honed her design sensibilities. The unique beauty of Washington state, with its striking contrasts and rich palette of colors and textures, continues to inspire and shape her design preferences, blending her East Coast heritage with the distinct character of the PNW.

Brigitte has masterfully blended her passion for design with her professional life, carving out a distinguished career in the marketing sector before venturing into interior design. Her design journey was catalyzed by completing a program at Parsons New School of Design, marking her transition from marketing to interior design. At her core, Brigitte is a storyteller, adept at crafting visual narratives and encapsulating lifestyle moments. Now, she applies her storytelling skills to how she designs personalized spaces for clients.

Creating beautiful, lived-in spaces that cater to life's diverse moments is what lights her up most... Brigitte cherishes observing the interplay between design elements and their surrounding space, as well as the deep connection clients form with their homes. She is a firm believer in the beauty of designs that show signs of daily life and relishes being immersed in such a personalized approach to design.

Brigitte draws inspiration from the natural landscapes that surround her, with a keen eye for colors, textures, shapes, and the emotions they evoke. Her design aesthetic is influenced by natural materials, earthy color schemes, and textured layers that add depth and dimension to her work.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Brigitte is an avid outdoors enthusiast, finding joy in hiking, mountain adventures, running, and yoga. She also delights in culinary pursuits, including cooking and baking, as well as spending quality time with her husband and their beloved red Labrador, Langley.
